KEELBOATING is wildly popular around the world and it is very popular in Poland, it is sometimes called OPEN YACHTING, it may be both motor yachts and sailboats, but keelboating refers specifically to sailing yachts.
Keelboat is a sailing yacht, without a residential area. Its ballast, the keel distinguishes it from so-called, Dinghy. This type of boat is very difficult to capsize, of course, not taking into account the very extreme conditions. It also has air chambers which protect it from sinking, which greatly increases the safety of the crew.
Keelboating gives a chance to sail fast without having to worry about the balance so much. It is an amazing experience sailing a yacht that is almost like a big dinghy but behaves like a big yacht, it is fun! If you try keelboating you will no longer looke for other sailing experience!
Some of the most popular types of keelboat yachts are: Beneteau 25, Melges 24, Laser SB3 and more recently the latest Polish construction Delphia 24 Sport, which thanks to its magnificent structure, and the Delphia 24 sailing association gets a larger group of sailors around Europe.
